The Modern Fan Company in Ashland, Oregon is a seller of contemporary-styled ceiling and industrial fans. They have weathered the recession well, even as construction has declined, and they are now planning to break ground on a new expansion that will double the size of their current floor space. The founder of the company explains that their success is based on a targeted market. They don't' sell through big box retailers, but specialize in sourcing to architects and designers.
Their fans are used in a lot of high-end resorts, loft conversions with high ceilings, and schools. The company is now a $7 million enterprise, and they posted their best year ever in 2010. They have developed many speciality designs for clients from the Hard rock Cafe to fitness centres and lounges. Many of their clients are located in hotter areas where fans are more of a necessity. They have expanded outside of the US and now sell to the Eurozone, Mexico, Israel, Australia, India, and Argentina.

how_to_reduce_noise_with_roller_garage_doors.php

Noise pollution that is created by electronic devices in your home can be frustrating both for your family and your neighborhood. Certain types of garage doors can be very noisy to operate, but there are ways to reduce this annoying racket. One way to lower the noise level of roller garage doors is to replace the steel rollers with nylon ones. This simple change will make the door run almost silently along the tracks.
Automatic garage door models, including the kinds provided by the Hörmann brand, that use metal wire reinforced rubber belts tend to be the quietest because their motors are insulated from the metal casing and the rubber belts make less noise than steel chains. Those with concrete garages might also want to consider installing a noise isolator system which uses rubber insulation on the horizontal track supports to cut vibrations and reduce noise. It's also important to keep the perimeter frame weatherstripping, rollers and track lubricated with regular treatment twice a year.

domestic_exhaust_fans_gain_popularity_over_air_conditioners_in_america.php

Domestic exhaust fans are gaining popularity over air-conditioning in America these days with people preferring to breathe in fresh natural air and cut expenses of centrally air-conditioned living spaces. Hence, people are largely using domestic exhaust fans wherever possible, be it in the garage, attic, kitchen, bathroom or elsewhere to help reduce the amount of air conditioning required that contribute to more CO2 and global warming problems.
Reviewing certain centrally air-conditioned spaces, the Energy Information Administration reveals that less than 4% of households turn off central air conditioners during the workday when no one is home. This is completely the opposite in the case of those using domestic exhaust fans, as users switch them off, while moving to the next room or the outdoors. Additionally, operating domestic exhaust fans means lesser expenditure on electricity due to their small size and power consumption.
